Honestly one of the best rpgs I've ever played, in my top top ten of all time without a doubt. I loved the original game but this game takes it to another level.

This game seems to only receive positive reviews. I, personally, LOVE this game. I'm at the end of Ch. 2 and it is one of, if not the best, the most awesome RPGs I've ever played. EVER.

I'm also loving the performance gains from the update yesterday.

heck yeah it is! it has 3 negative reviews on metacritic out of a ton of positive ones. just goes to show you there's always gonna be someone trying to bring a great game down.

didn't get much performance gains other than when i un-pause or come back from inventory screen etc to play it doesn't stutter/drop frames. most performance gains happened with retail versions. i have the DRM-free one from so i never experienced long loading screens and such.

I actually was playing before with SSAO off and I did the auto detect and ran with SSAO on and the performance was about the same! So now, with SSAO off on high settings, without AA, I'm getting 30 FPS on a 1GB GTS450! Pretty good I'd say:)
