E3 2011 Anticipation: PlayStation 3

Gamezone: PS Move is a cool and intuitive peripheral. But since the day it was released, one thing has been missing: innovation.

At E3 2011, it’s do or die for Sony’s motion controller. We saw what happened with the SIXAXIS: after its first year at retail: the controller faded away almost as quickly as the Virtual Boy. It was a sad moment in Sony history, but it was one the company brought on itself.

I was an early Move adopter and really the only thing I play on it is Sports Champions

What I want to see most is Agent, Zone of the Enders 3, and whatever Sony Santa Monica (GOW3) is working on.

I really hope Sony announces some core Move games. I’ve been waiting for them to make good on their promise that Move would be a peripheral for the hardcore gamer. Make it happen, Sony. I like motion controls, and I would really like them implemented in some more PlayStation 3 games.

well they implemented it in Kz3 and socom. But i think you mean a dedicated move core game. I agree they need a core game that focuses using the move. I hope they make another sports champions soon and hope they announce some core titles at E3.

Killzone 3 and SOCOM were excellent steps in making the Move more accessible to the core PlayStation 3 audience. That said, they should continue to implement motion controls to newer games. Make most games Move compatible and give gamers the option to choose, but make the motion controls stellar enough to the point where gamers will want to use the Move control scheme.

We need 3rd party support for move. It has amazing potential for games like Skyrim and MGS Rising. Valve also missed a trick with portal2. So far we are just seeing move in shooters but I don't think this is its strongest genre. Sadly I don't see this potential coming to fruition.

Move implementation would have been really cool with Portal 2. I would love to see some third-party support within the next couple of years.

Syphon Filter and a new Wipeout game.

Getaway 3 would be nice.

Oh and Agent gameplay.
