Will Single Player Never Die?

MMGN blogger poses the question.

"This started as a reply to Heller's thread pc.mmgn.com/... but I added more meat and gravy and it grew, so here goes. . . . .

The idea that Multiplayer gaming is going to one day take over and solo gameplay experiences are somehow secondary to playing via networks seems interesting, but ultimately flawed to me. . . .

I cannot see solo play ever dying and that isn't because I don't like online play. Instead online and solo are two halves of the one whole. They are both equally vital and create very different narrative driven experiences."

The story is too old to be commented.
