WHEN the post was made, it was leaked. Apparently you didn't check at all the timing of the post.

The patch is officially released now.

Yeah, I'm sort of mad that Steam is screwing up the patch. There is NO WAY that it is 9GBs...but w/e, I'll just play Shogun 2 'till its done, lol

don't think its Valve's fault that the DL is so big, there have been plenty of updates on steam that has been alot smaller. But there may have been an error with what file types they are using, or maybe its just a communication error between Valve and CDPR.

That steam update also includes the free Troll Trouble DLC.

Installed it earlier, and I've also installed the ATI 11.5b hotfix and I don't know which one has made the game run buttery smooth but it's done the trick. Beforehand, the game ran great, was getting about 30-40fps, but now I get 50-60fps constant on Ultra - 1920x1080, so yay!

It has made the depth of field more apparent though, didn't notice it before but now it's really profound, and they have, for some reason, disabled the analog stick in menus and the spell wheel when using a 360 controller which is a strange move unless they didn't mean to do it. And they haven't fixed the camera flipping around when entering or exiting buildings either but that's just a little niggle, overall decent patch.
