THQ have published quite a few great games.

Disccordia2551d ago

Yep, and still got inSANE yet to come

DOW Series? Metro 2033? Red Faction: Guerrilla and Armageddon? Saints Row?

THQ has been bringing some varied and decent games for awhile now, and with the exception of Homefronts SP. I've been pretty rarely disappointed.

OT: Turtle Rock seemed so ambitious with L4D, I thought it was a little strange that the director was so gimped and the game was so light on content. Here's hoping that THQ gives them the time they need.

Wait....I thought valve were the Left 4 Dead creators?

@ Below - Subsidiary: A company whose voting stock is more than 50% controlled by another company, usually referred to as the parent company.

So if Valve is the parent company why dont they publish the game.

I love THQ but valve games appeal to me more.

Turtle Rock Studios is a subsidiary of Valve Corporation.

I'm confused at this as well but maybe Valve is doing a RTW and doesn't have the resources to continue supporting such a succefessful and ambitious studio but also isn't going to stand in their way (getting published) and generating potential bad blood for future partnerships later on... ?

Valve have seemingly infinite money to fund their games with. They still choose to go with publishers on certain games.
