Call of Duty In Real Life

Believe it or not, some video games are based in reality. Call of Duty, one of the most popular franchises in video game history, is one such game. To get a feel for how to structure and pace the game, developers rely on real life soldiers who wear helmet cameras in order to replicate the experience. It isn't often that we get to see these videos, but Spc. Michael Gannon has released a video from a day his squad was ambushed and gave it to the New York Times.

It was a great look into the struggles that our Military men and women face.

I'd love to see some more insights like that, it was exhilarating and yet I was extremely concerned for them at the same time. Great stuff.
