D+PAD Magazine Writes:
Space shooters have suffered a bit of a crash in recent times, with titles such as Rogue Squadron and Star Wars: Starfighter now confined to the annals of history regardless of the fond memories they might invoke. It makes little sense why this should be the case either, with sweeping environments and tense shootouts becoming the staple for what was once a justifiably popular genre. Star Raiders, the latest ‘remake’ of sorts by the folk at Atari, may sound enticing in concept, but we advise you to hold on to those precious MS points given the truly regrettable gameplay on offer. It’s that bad.
