To be honest, they do have a chance but I just don't see it happening.

Hopefully the few families that buy the Xbox 360 on this tenous premise ('family' console....that's a joke right) won't get RROD. That would s*ck.

MS would f*ck up the whole holiday season for that family.

'Daddy, daddy, the Xbox doesn't work anymore.'

Mom: 'Gee Bob, what should we do?'

Dad: 'I haven't the slightest idea Jane. I shalt call MS to see if they could assist me.'

Dad after waiting 30 minutes on hold with MS customer service: 'Aww f*ck it, kids you are all getting PSP's this Christmas.'

Kids: 'Hellz yeah!'

Yes, but they have to market it right. They need the right commercials, possibly ones that show the whole family having fun with a diverse group of simple, fun games. They need to air the commercials during family shows, and on Saturday morning cartoon shows. They need to make kids say "I want that" to their parents when they see it. It would also help if they showed how much more powerful it is than the Wii.

Will it replace the Wii as the lead family console? No, but they can at least take a percentage of the casual market.

and drop the price to 229. 200 bucks and I think you might have at least few people bitting.
