How Sony Should Address The PSN Situation at Their E3 2011 Press Conference

Much has been said about how Sony handled the entire situation following the taking down of the PlayStation Network in mid-April. But now PSN is coming back on and things are looking to get back to normal. But with E3 just a few short weeks away, Sony will have to make another statement about the whole ordeal at its annual pre-E3 press conference. But how should they go about it?

They ignore it and announce the next GTA being ps3 exclusive. Plus a GTA collection which is PS3 exclusive. NGP is going to be 250 and the PS3 drops to 200 bucks with Infamous and LBP already installed.

That would be nice but at the same time if they did that it would cost a lot to make that game and they would need a lot of those 360s sales to help recoup money so I really dont think that a PS3 exclusive will happen. But who knows.

I did the same for the psp once i bought a black one of course then a white one of playstasia.com.

With ngp i will probably get two as well, but this time just because of the difference between the two models(which will probably make me get them in different colors again).

One i could use for a more basic experience while the other i could use out on a trip or something for its 3g and gps functions.

It wasnt sonys fault psn went down plus they did a good job handling peoples information that could have been stolen. Lets just wait for sony to give us a great e3 announcement full of great games that we are all waiting for.

I heard that there was going to be a core NGP model for $200. As far as the next GTA being a PS3 exclusive..I hope to God that its true. I'd like to see what Rockstar can do with with using the FULL power of the PS3 and and the space of a Blu-Ray disc.

As far as the PSN outage, I'm 99.9% sure that KB will come out and make fun of it somehow at the press conference lol.

Rockstar did express concern over thier next GTA project being too big for 360. I dont see a ps3 exclusive deal for GTA though. If they can cram LA Noire on the 360 then they will probably do the same for GTA "V"

I think they should just ignore it and get down to business. I want to see more uncharted, twisted metal, last guardian, starhawk, and NGP. I'm sure they'll announce some new ip's also

I agreed i mean before the breach ever happened i am sure they had their 3 hour presentation mapped out. Adding a time for more apologies will eat away some of that valuable time and feel to my personal opinion overkill.

All they need to do in my personal opinion is focus on the new projects and unless a new interested feature is coming out for the psn. Then it shouldn't even be mention.

Gamers don't want to hear anymore sad stories, just good and interesting news about upcoming games, possible price drops and new gadgets at that.

Anything else is irrelevant.

Theres 2 things I want sony to do at e3.

1. Make sure to do what u do best & that is showcase awesome games.

2. Make sure that PSN doesnt go down again for 3 weeks & force ppl to buy psn cards that way u definitely dont have to worry about our info being stolen.

Other then that, im with u until u guys are finished with gaming aslong as u keep me satisfied & coming back for more with the best exclusive lineup of this gen, last gen, & the gen before last.

They could do any number of things.
Show The Last Guardian first.
Syphon Filter PS3.
Demo a new R3 level.
Demo a new UC3 level.
Show some more gameplay from Starhawk.
Show Agent in working form.
Announce exclusivity deal with Valve. (I can dream).
