I've stopped playing this game. The reduced frame rate, laggy online, and peoples tendency to blatantly use the touch screen controls for easy specials, supers and ultra's just makes the game broken and boring to play. Was a good launch game but, I'd much rather just stick to playing this on my PS3 and 360.

Cablephish4726d ago

I was considering getting this for 3DS because it was the best launch title they had, but the way I see it I wouldn't have played it that much. I was kind of thrown into the illusion that it was the only game that was worth getting at launch, but then I decided to just wait for Ocarina of Time.

@Optical_Matrix
You can turn off the touch screen option even for multiplayer so you will only fight against people who aren't using touch screen. You know that, right?

And online matches will be laggy if your connection or your opponent's connection isn't good.

I have this game and I love it. The online multiplayer works fine.

And I wonder if you can play the PS3 or 360 version on the go. That's why the SSFIV3D is here. I would say something like "Id much rather just stick to playing Uncharted and Wipeout on my PS3 and not NGP" but it's just dumb and pointless.

Theyellowflash304726d ago

Yeah from what ive played the online is good just as long as both connections are good. And there is a option for multiplayer to turn off the touchscreen controls so I don't see why Optical_Matrix is complaining about that.

And yeah if you have the console version and you don't care about on the go playing you should have never bought it in the first place. Its just a way to brush up on your skills on the go.

Hisiru4726d ago (Edited 4726d ago )

@Theyellowflash30
Exactly. If you have it on your consoles and you won't play it on the go, why would you buy SSFIV3D like Optical_Matrix did? This is a portable game and shouldn't be compared to the console games. If I want to play Uncharted on the go I will buy Uncharted for the NGP and I won't put it against the PS3 version because it won't be the exact same game.

I don't know but when I play this game and get all caught up in the moment, my hand always rubs on the volume and turns it off

soren4726d ago

its good and its not laggy if u have good and the frame rate is fine

lizard812884726d ago

lol, atleast SSF4:3D uses the Circle pad and has online....unlike some other fighting game...

TruthbeTold4726d ago

Yeah, sounds like there's some Developer envy going on. SSF4 is a damned good handheld fighting game. Nothing before it on handheld has even come close.

lizard812884725d ago

whats up with the disagrees? its TRUE, BlazeBlue 3DS doesn't have online nor can you use the Circle pad.

lol @ N4G users...

gk074726d ago

i like it : ) havent tried online yet tho, my fight money!!!

Trunkz4726d ago

I like the easy controls, I can actually use guiles moves XD Tho they should of made a hardcore mode to disable that stuff, etc.

KonaBro4726d ago

I use Balrog and using the analog pad on the 3DS makes it easy, but not when I'm fighting kids online who abuse the touch screen controls for projectile characters.

Hisiru4726d ago

You can disable touch screen using the pro mode and it will allow you to fight only against people who aren't using touch screen (online).

Theyellowflash304726d ago

They did make a pro mode to disable that stuff.

Chronicling Akuma's Street Fighter appearances

Akuma isn't one of the original Street Fighters. He made his first debut in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, the fourth version of Street Fighter II. Though, you might not have seen him unless you were an especially proficient player or had access to cheats. Akuma began as a secret character. Rather than only remaining hidden for one game, he's remained a secret through many installments in the series. If you wanted Akuma, you almost always had to work for him.

People Are Still Buying Super Street Fighter IV On Nintendo 3DS

From July – September this year, 3DS owners picked up another 100,000 copies of the game, bringing total sales to 1.2 million. That’s a very impressive figure, considering that this is the first version of Super Street Fighter IV, and hasn’t been updated since its initial release. It has none of the added content from Arcade Edition, 2012 or Ultra Street Fighter IV, but it has seen fairly healthy long-term sales regardless.

I may be a smash fanatic, but there's nothing wrong with a "street fight" every once in a while.
