Samsung is what I use
so far they are a reliable company...so far, Before that I was an RCA nut I only support their TV's but one year they just went to hell and the TVS we're no longer of quality so I puchased my first HDTV after my RCA TV died on me, Not wanting to pay out extra for thin...ect I purchase an samsung HD Tube tv *paid bout 500 dollars a year ago all most now* its heavy as hell but it works great, got 2 hdmi inputs...ect so my ps3 and 360 are both hooked up via this and it looks great.

If you're looking for quality and reliablity guess who you can go to? It starts with a S and ends with an ONY. LOL. Check consumers reports and they rated number one on almost everything they make. Seriously almost Everything. I think I'm goig to go with the Bravia when prices drop this year. You get your bang for your buck. But I also hear Samsumg does a good job on Plasmas and are getting much better on LCD's too. They tend to be rated above average

I do read consumer reports and I do believe the only qualtiy they get is in the console line, in most other departments they get their asses kicked by samsung.

Samsung is the better company.

I use Samsung too but then

1. Sony and Samsung use the same LCD panel

2. Sony does make MUCH better TV than Samsung somehow....look at those Bravia XBR 3.....you can't tell which one is SONY from like 15meters away even if there are 100 TVs on wall...try it in any local bestbuys or circuitcity=)

I've got a Sammy LCD HDTV. I'll never go back to Fony. Sammy is #1 in TVs. Can't wait to get one of these bad boys once the price is normal.

Hopefully they finally solved Hdtv blurring on these lcds. If not I'm sticking with my Sammy Plasma. I'll wait for Lazertv, Sed, Oled.
