New Call of Duty to be confirmed by 23rd May

EA is clearly vying for Activision’s FPS crown and who can blame them given CODs success, its likely that Battlefield 3 will be released very close to the next COD. A confident move, however titles usually shift their release dates to avoid going head to head … it maybe fool hardy.

I think it will be announced before E3. But regardless, its a CoD game and we all knew it comes every year, most likely in November...

If Battlefield 3 releases same day as COD I am afraid it will not end well for Battlefield. It's clear COD has a huge fanbase and while it is ambitious of Battlefield 3 to try to take out the king, I am 100% certain it will fail to do so.

I'd wait until some console footage to make that judgment sir. Oh, and a multiplayer reveal. Both of which'll be shown for BF3 at E3.

Ultimately, the competition between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 will start at E3, then we'll really see what each is bringing to the table.

Well bottom line is Battlefield 3 is made for P.C. while Modern Warfare 3 is made and targeted for console gamers.

Battlefield 3 could be the best thing since sliced bread and it's still going to get eaten alive by Modern Warfare 3.

I seriously doubt Battlefield 3 releases the same day. If anything it releases weeks before or weeks after. Even that wont be enough to dent MW3.

I don't care, all I know is I'll be picking up my copy of BF3 on PC and staying well clear of the next COD - I don't even need to see gameplay to know it's going to be as bad as the last few.
