Unique, amazing and similar to Lego.
there is no objective in the game, in other words sooner or later you will turn around look at your self and say "i built everything cool there is to build...now what" no im not sure what there 4/5 rating is comparing this game too. if its comparing it to all indie games sure this is one of the best out there, but if its comparing it to all pc games then no way.
its being compared to all indie games. Comparing an indie game to commercially made games (costing millions of dollars and enormous manpower) is unfair.
Well i guess minecraft brought this new genre into light and now with the popularity terraria is getting this looks like there are gonna be more games of that sort
I'd give it 5/5.. Compared to any game. It's not for everyone but it's great for those who get into it. You can set your own objectives. You get bored of any game. There's a lot more to do and more gameplay time to spend in MC than almost anything else. Its nice to have a game with infinite scope so the player can decide when they're done rather than the designers. I wish more games had procedurally generated stuff. On multiplayer servers particularly Minecraft has a lot more depth than most commercial titles. Ive not got as much out of any other game. How exactly can you run out of cool things to build anyway? That's just limited by imagination and willingness to spend time on it.
yeah it has that never ending "The Sims" like appeal, and online but that just puts some people off. having no goal sometimes makes a game pointless. If u know what i mean.
this game is being remade in C#, it performs so much better away from slow java code. even tho C# is managed code rather than C++, its still insanely better so there we go lol
really?! that would make the game much cooler
