Gears of War 3 Beta Survival Guide | Warp Zoned

Warp Zoned writes:

"I love Gears of War multiplayer: great action, eye-popping graphics, over-the-top violence, and an overall fun experience. The only problem is I suck at it. A lot. As in turbo-charged Hoover suckage. My kill/death ratio is embarrassingly low, and I sometimes feel like I spend more time waiting to respawn than actually playing the game.

Take it from me: a little time, patience and smarts will have you holding your own even against the toughest opponents. Hopefully this guide will help you enjoy all the fun the beta has to offer. No, you still may not get the most kills, but at least you won’t feel like cannon fodder either."

What's frustrating?

Those [email protected] skilled players that can wall bounce around a mile away, get in front of you and kill ya with one shot with the Gnasher! WTF?

I can barely aim moving from side to side, let alone bounce around the freaken place.

Awesome game though!!!

Gears 3 is noob heaven compared to the first Gears.

My advice for new players regarding the Capture the Leader mode is just don't play it. Seriously the person who is chosen as the leader needs to be at least decent and communicate a lot (this includes knowing where all the weapon spawns are and names of areas to call out to better communicate where the enemies are). Just get some practice in the other modes first and get to know the maps.

As is stated in the article, sticking with your team mates is very important in Gears. Moreso than perhaps any other game of a similair type online
