SystemLink: "Steam do some awesome deals. FACT. And just days after ArmA II and Mount & Blade could be snatched up for discount prices, Valve have chosen 7 EA games to go on sale this week."
Hrm I hope they have BFBC2 Vietnam expansion on there one day. Still haven't picked that up.
It was for 50% off on D2D a few days ago... so I'd expect steam to have something similar. If I had to take a guess, I'd say the days of sale will be Crysis, Sims, NFS (+Burnout?), Battlefield (+MoH?), MassEffect, and then Command&Conquer or DeadSpace ... probably C&C.
I'm hoping for Crysis Maximum Edition, Mirrors Edge, Mass Effect 1, and Dead Space 2.
I will buying the DAO Ultimate Edition (I platinumed the game on the PS3.. but never played awakening). I'm looking forward to ME2 DLC. Although I cant seem to find them on Steam.
Sure, Steam has great sales but can't even match the price for their own game Portal 2. It's still 49.99 on Steam when it's on sale almost everywhere for $29.99 right now. Strange how that is... It's as if they didn't expect merchants to drop the price so low and are trying to hold their ground. Sucks for them. Replayability is a big factor here and something Portal 2 lacks at the moment. They should have added the bonus levels and leaderboards when the game shipped instead of planning to add them later.
Well Valve can't exactly control the prices that retailers are selling it for. The game's only been out for a couple weeks, and its selling tons of copies at $50, so I don't see why they'd want to drop the price just yet. They are a business after all.
I got Arma 2 for £3.99 about 2 weeks ago. I see Monday is still up even though we are half way through Tuesday. Tuesday is NFS day http://cdn.steampowered.com...
Crysis 2 needs to be $30..
your not missing much if you havn't played it.
