L.A. Noire’s “Grandma and Girlfriend” Mode: Pandering or Progressive?

That's definitely a good thing. If you don't want to use it then don't. It's not like completing a game is like a prestigious thing and should only be given to those that deserve it. It should be given to everyone if they aren't good enough to do it themselves. Especially since Rockstar have never done dificulty levels.
