We Are Not Robots: Matt’s Gaming History | That Gamer Hub

"Unlike John and Adam, my video game passion did not start with the Atari but first began at the NES-era. I only was three years old when I was dropped at an hotel’s day care service for the night and played the Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt duo for the first time. Over the next two years, I played video games at some friend’s house until my parents gave me a Super Nintendo for my 5th birthday. At the time, I did not know that this console was more powerful than what I was used to playing on: all that I cared for is that I could play video games at home. During that time, I played games such as Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario RPG the Donkey Kong Country series, NBA Jam, and many others."
