you will be OK as long as you understand that no one from Microsoft will EVER ask you for your password/login INFO.

but then again...i have seen people do much worse...

evrfighter2338d ago

take some notes Sony! you should have done this over a week ago.!

CharlesDCI2338d ago

But I thought stuff like this could never happen on XBL../s

Anarki2338d ago

You're sadly mistaken. Xbox live is just as much at risk as PSN is. There's no such thing as hackproof. Sony just pissed off a lot of hackers.

moparful992338d ago

@anarki that "/s" means sarcasm.. He knows that nothing is hack proof he was mocking all of the people flipping out over how easy it was for psn to be hacked....

B1663r2338d ago

Actually, I am willing to bet that Microsoft in particular hashes their password info so passwords can not be stolen from XBL, that alone makes a hack like happened on PSN not possible on XBL,

v1c1ous2338d ago

i dont think you know what phishing means Citizen...

CharlesDCI2338d ago

Really don't have the patience to explain myself but,I will say this.

It is obvious that MS does know what phishing means for them to be giving out security warnings. If you believe that paying for XBL makes it safer than PSN, they just proven you wrong.

HeretoSpeakTheTruth2338d ago

LOL Bravo you sir have made my day

ME19892338d ago (Edited 2338d ago )

No clue why you thought that. Do you even know what phishing is?

MRJENKINS2338d ago

Are you a moron hacking has nothing to do with phishing.

KDubyah2338d ago

Uh, wait.. I thought phishing was being an idiot an giving out your information?
Giving your information to untrustworthy sites or to people you don't know, hmmm?
If so, what's that got to do with hacking, Microsoft (XBL), or Sony(PSn)? Hahah.
