No plans for Deus Ex PC mod tools

There are currently no plans to produce mod tools for the PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Eidos Montreal art director Jonathan Jacques-Belletete has told Strategy Informer.

When asked if the PC version of the multi-format game would include mod tools (something common for PC titles), Jacques-Belletete said: "At this point though there are no plans. We are not working on PC mod tools - now this being said, it doesn't mean that it's something we're just ticking off... we could work on something in the future or out-source it or whatever."

did you really expect mod tools?

I was expecting mods, since thats what deus ex got

not that surprising considering they're not even making the game themselves.
Although I only seem to remember one successful mod from the original Deus Ex and that took years to be released

This game is going to be a GIANT DISASTER!

It has been delayed sooo many times, every gameplay vid i have seen looks terrible, the yellow and black tones are ugly, every surface is covered in thousands of terrible jaggies( even more than the average console game) the gameplay looks clunky and unrefined, i hope i am totally wrong as i loved the first DE back in the day, but honestly, this looks like it will be a steaming pile.

At least with mods the community could have made it a decent game, i never had any intentions of picking it up until it hit the bargin bin anyway(should only take a month or two._

Again, i hope i am wrong!
