Games Abyss: Black & White Review

Ryan Hauser writes, "It’s hard to believe how many years it has been since I first laid my eyes on a Pokemon game. It’s even more remarkable that a game so old has practically remained the same since its inception. Some may choose to use that fact as a way to call GameFreak lazy, or milking their cash cow, but the simple fact is just playing the different pokemon games not only do you feel like your in a different world. You rarely if ever feel like your doing the same thing even though you basically are. This especially holds true in Pokemon Black & White. The most monotonous thing about Pokemon is its fairy tale story of a young boy or girl who goes off to become the Pokemon champion. Well not to say its different this time, but it is. The story behind Team Plasma and the Seven Sages changes Pokemon story from being a repetitive to interesting." (Nintendo DS, Pokemon Black and White) 9.0/10
