Cubed3: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Review 9/10

Following the shock and controversy surrounding the cel-shaded approach Nintendo took with Wind Waker on the GameCube, it was no surprise that the company reverted back to the more traditional style fans had been crying out for with Twilight Princess. However, the cartoon-esque route is being taken once more for The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, the series' début on the Nintendo DS. But not only that, the development team has thrown the standard control mechanic out of the window in favour of a completely touch-screen derived method of input. The question is, though, whether or not this freshens things up or actually detracts from the Zelda universe gamers have all grown to love over the years.

The story is too old to be commented.

I think it's a great game. Looks good and plays well. The only thing I don't like about it is the roll move. You have to draw a tiny circle at the edge of the screen and for me at least works every other time :(

Fast action and brilliant controls minus the one I pointed out. ^^
