SFX360:
Let’s just start this review by saying Valve has done a great job with Portal 2. I haven’t been able to put down my copy or Portal 2 since it arrived in my hands. I can clearly tell it’s a hit with my friends since I also see them online just playing the game. If I could put Portal 2 into feelings I’d say fun, addicting, mean, and worth your money. You can tell that the game has been a huge success and will have gamers coming back for single player and co-op often after the game is beat. In my opinion this game is going to make it as Game of the Year for 2011. The game offers a lot of great features including the single player, co-op and just an enjoyable time playing.
If you’re one of the many gamers who enjoy puzzles games and you’re looking for a challenging and fun game. Portal 2 will be the game to choose with no questions asked. At least it’s no questions asked for myself since I’ve already spent a massive amount of hours playing single player and co-op with friends. (When playing co-op try not to “accidently” kill your friend over and over.) These puzzles are challenging and at times will make you walk away from your system of choice until you realize the answer. I admit that I did that countless times, but running off only a few hours of sleep and trying to beat the game isn’t easy since it always seemed like my brain was fried every time I sat down to play.
