The PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3) computer entertainment system, is now Bluetooth enabled, with the Logitech Cordless Vantage Headset and MediaBoard Pro.
Sonys Marketting is pretty out there even I have to admit.
What part of "LOGITECH is pleased to offer..." did you fail to understand? I mean, sure SONY looks exactly like LOGITECH, cause both have an 'o' as 2nd char, right? How you manage to link a Logitech announcement to Sony's marketing is something that manages to elude my understanding of reality.
Jesus buddy learn to read. Logitech has nothing to do with Sony. And wtf is this whole ad thing anyways? PS3 has supported any bluetooth kb or headset since launch.
If i had a way to connect to the internet on my PS3 i would buy that.
Yes is that what your sayin? You have no internet connection on your PS3?
I think that's what he said guys.
I don't have electricity in my home. I would install electrical outlets but I don't have any walls in my house either. In fact, I don't even have hands.
R U saying U don't have electicity running though wires that are in the walls of the house that U don't have? Thats almost has crazy has the guy who doesn't have internet for his PS3 but yet he's posting on this site? He has no internet for his PS3 but yet he has internet for his computer. Maybe he just can't connect the internet to his PS3. Not evryone has a router, but he should get one.
like i said my PS3 IS IN MY ROOM and my modem is in the LIVING ROOM. I have a way to connect my PS3 to the internet but the only obstacle is my grandma who would be a tornado of anger and pissed off OLD woman. I wouldn't even be able to get online on my PC. When i do get my own house after i graduate high school then i would connect my PS3 to the internet
i still want a cheap headset i can buy locally =/. noone sells those anymore, not even EB.
the DiNovo is still a better option. It's rechargable.
I will probably get the keyboard eventually...I have a USB keyboard around, and always thought that is all I need for web browsing and chatting and stuff...but I end up never hooking it up, and am too lazy to find it when I have a message or whatever... Too bad the text prediction wasn't T9 or something...then just using the sixaxis wouldn't be nearly as annoying for that...but the text prediction it does have is more annoying than anything imo... I will definitely need a keyboard though for UT3 when it releases...I have a decent wireless mouse already...I know there are cheaper bluetooth, etc. wireless keyboards available...but the PS3 specific buttons will make a big difference imo...
Just for future comments. This is not the official PS3 headset and keyboard. This is like Messiah's PS3 Remote (beautiful design BTW). It's specifically made for the PS3, but it's not an official sony PS3 product.
(((((((((((((((((((((READ COMMENT ABOVE PEOPLE))))))))))))))))))))))) dont get it twisted.
I just kinda wish I didn't buy Warhawk to get it. :(
Are you suggesting you don't like Warhawk? If it makes you feel any better, I'll put it this way to you. I live in the UK and the Jabra BT 135 headset costs £25 on it's own from most phone places. I managed to get Warhawk (with the headset) for £29.99, so the game only cost £5. Surely Warhawk is worth £5? If not, you could always sell the game on and make most of your money back...
Maybe it has to do with me playing the beta, but in any case, it's not bad, but I find myself in the minority that doesn't think it's some divine gift from the multi-player heavens. Resistance MP is much more satisfying IMO. Good point though.
I can understand you being a bit disappointed. I got it this week and have only started playing it, but the games seem to lack atmosphere to me or something. It's a good game, but I agree it's not 'some divine gift from the multi-player heavens'. I think, what you'll find is that it's a game which people can boast about on sites like this to make the PS3 look better against all the anti-ps3 movements.
and it's sad that it has to come down to that, in that there is even an anti-console group AND a need to oppose it. Ah well. In any case, the idea is good on paper, and I think the series has loads of potential, they just need to straighten out their development cycle. It looks largely unchanged from when I saw screens and vids of the single player campaign years ago, as if it somehow fell into development limbo along the way. Warhawk can be more dynamic than what KZ2 appears to be, they just need to tackle it with a plan in mind. Worth a sequel if enough changes are made.
mmh, I still dont have a headset, the jabra headset isnt pretty good, I consider logitech as first party playstation hardware, might as well get it.
i still have not found a heaset that i like.. i have a ps2 logitec usb heaset that i bought for my ps3 but it lacks a volume control and the wire is paper thin..plus the mic is almost rubbing on my mouth.. i have multiple bluetooth headsets (2 jambra's and a motorola ) and they all suck..i think the biggest problem is battery life.. my sixaxis lasts at least 4X longer than my headsets..exiting a game to switch headsets blows
This story is old! lol http://www.n4g.com/tech/New... I wonder how half the stuff on this site gets approved... I personally am more interested in the keyboard than the headset, but the price puts me off big time. Maybe around Christmas somewhere will be doing a deal on it (hopefully). Interestingly, this keyboard isn't on Logitech's website anymore.
i just kind of skimmed through this article so i may have missed it but did logitech say anything about this actually working better than a regular bluetooth headset. because i don't want to drop another $80 to find out that my bluetooth headset (1) freezes my controller (2) randomly stops working (3) sucks donkey balls (4) requires me to turn it on ONLY before i turn my PS3 on and even after this it still decides to work half the time. So frustrating, my current bluetooth headset is currently sitting on my table charging and has been for the past 2 months. stupid motorola garbage.
