Yea i know what Mortal Kombat is i used to beast on it in the arcade on MK3. Its still hasn't even been that solid of a game since the arcades over 10years ago.

To me alot of people only attracted to it for gore which is why its alot of peoples only fight game they like/play.

Great game none the less but SF fans will still probably like SF more since mot of us liked SF more when MK was at its peak in MK1-3

and its declared the fighter of the gen based on a Demo?

You talk like Mortal Kombat was at some point on top of competitive fighting games. Nope. They always chased after the big one, Street Fighter.

It is by far the goriest though and a lot of people prefer it over SF.

The PS3 version is region free (unfortunately, the 360 version isn't). So, if you're willing to pay a little extra, you can still get the game. Just create a PSN account for the region you bought the game from (i.e., if you import a U.S. copy, make a U.S. PSN acct). Sucks that you have to jump through hoops and can't just walk to the local game store down the street, but at least it's better than not being available at all.

Yeah thats all good and well which I understand this already as I purchase games from the uk, although it is banned here so you get fined if caught going through customs.

if the demo is any indication of the quality i expect to see alot of 9 and 9.5's. i have played the demo over 200 times and with all the kontent included i really dont see anything bad. getting it at midnight tonight and cant fuckin wait.....5 hrs
