Why can't we control our controls?

"Why hasn’t the first person shooter genre have standardized controls? It’s the most competitive genre among gaming communities worldwide, yet each individual game has it’s own configurations and algorithms. I’ve always found it frustrating having to reorient myself to different feels of different games, and the constant crap shoot of adjusting sensitivities is more complicated than it should be."

I can control my control, but that's because unlike the writer in this article I'm not 5 and so I know how to fix settings

gonna have to agree with the PC guy, it has better controls. However, FPS on the consoles feel fine to me for the most part

I actually find FPS games to be much easier to play on consoles. Some people are able to be more precise with a mouse, but I just seem to have better control over my thumb. Of course, nothing beats motion controls. I'm deadly with a waggle stick!

I know this isn't really the point of the article, though...was just sayin'.

PC is def better, both for FPS and RTS games
