Sources now confirm to IGN the new Nintendo controller allows players to stream entire games to the device from the console, saying it's like a miniature television. The screen size on the controller is also confirmed to be six inches in size.
IGN has no idea what they're talking about. The shakedown after E3 is going to be amazing.

im tired of rumors... i want 2 hear from NINTENDO themselves
this is too good to be true. its obviously fake
Last E3, Nintendo stole Sony's thunder with the 3DS... Well, it's out now...and it isn't exactly a revolution. Will Nintendo steal the show again with yet another hype machine? Edit: I have one. The problem is...the PSP is six years old and it has ten times the features this thing has.
why so ready to dis 3DS? of course it's no revolution yet, its been under a month
nintendo started that connect play thing if i remember. GBA didnt have streaming but it worked well for some games on the gamecube. and what features does the psp have cause apparently it has 100 features if the 3DS has 10. People need to give the 3DS time, wait till e3 to make any future defining decisions. the ps3 started horribly but look where its at now. same with the psp. the 3DS im amazed it sold nearly 400k in spring like really. with the limited supply... had it been December it would be triple or quadruple that number. Im buying one after i buy my subs. ***Also im tired of hearing the i got one my friend got 1 and he sold it back because it was so bad bs. EVERY CONSOLE EVER MADE had a certain amount of people buying it and returning it. in fact almost every product in the world this happens -_-. if 500 people buy something and 50 people return it its a failure?
It's not a failure and I'm sure it will have better features in the future, but no 3G support? No messaging system for friends? No themes? Nothing? I paid $250 for this thing.
big deal. its a gaming system last i checked they arent supposd to have all that crap sony just spoiled you guys with that on the psp and imo i have a psp i never used it for any of that crap. Nintendo will improve the messaging aspect as time goes along. you paid 250$ for a Gaming console not a Iphone remember that.
6 inch hd screen on a controller that you can stream entire games to? that will cost a fortune :l hmm unless the controller IS the console, which can be played connected to the computer or hand held. that would be amazing the problem with that is it would be competing with their own 3ds console. the project 'cafe' name does suggest it is something that can be enjoyed on the go
That's what I was thinking, or maybe it's not a wii successor at all, and Nintendo is breaking into the tablet market now. it's not too hard to believe that they would after dominating the handheld market, try to take some of Apple's share. Also the name café does imply it'something that can be used in a coffee shop. And I'm usually good at guessing the meaning behind code names. Just like how Revolution became Wii, but it did indeed spark a Motion Controller Revolution.
Sounds like some kind of tablet device controller - like a mini ipad. Novelty controllers are one thing , they're gonna need the games to back it up if they want to impress.
@newn4gguy Sounds like you were looking for a smartphone. Appreciate it for the main purpose it was intended... to play games.
