An official statement about a new patch for Total War: Shogun 2 has been issued on the game's site forum. The team of developers at The Creative Assembly assures us that they are "working super-hard to make the Shogun 2 experience as great as [they] can make it."
According to the post, the developers have been keeping an eye on what the community had to say and what are the issues they have identified. As part of some "fairly substantial fixes in the coming weeks and months," The Creative Assembly is announcing that the new Patch 2 brings a "raft of multiplayer fixes and modifications" as well as DirectX 11 support. The DX11 support brings Anti-Aliasing support as well as access to features such as hardware tessellation and enhanced shadowing.
