Leigh Sherval writes: "I’d love to see more Ghostbusters. There have been rumblings for years that we’d be getting a third movie. In 2009, Atari published a popular videogame, for which the aging cast members reprised their roles. If the future of Ghostbusters hangs on the success of this game prepare to shed a tear. The dream might be over.
There’s no level system, no upgrades to speak of. You just trudge through the environments with nothing but the feeling of undeniable nostalgia pushing you along. The game can be played cooperatively with three others but sharing the monotony is sure to make you unpopular. I ain’t afraid of no ghosts, but I am afraid of shovelware, especially if it’s hiding behind the veil of something I love."
