5 Games that prove the Wii can be mature

The Wii is often criticized for not having enough mature games. These people are simply not correct. If you decide to look past Carnival Games and Game Party, and why you would want to stay there I don't know, there are tonnes of games strictly restricted to the over 16s. These are five I've managed to pick out fairly easily.

Funny they use Madworld as an example, the game that garnered lackluster sales and almost singlehandedly proved that the Wii can't feasibly do "mature" games. The audience just ain't there.

Now, if you're talking about mature GAMEPLAY, the Wii has a few good examples of that. Super Mario Galaxy games have very mature gameplay systems and mechanics/controls, honed to a fine art at this point.

But if your idea of maturity is blood, swearing and boobies, then congratulations: you've just turned 14.

5 is still a small to say see it can be mature. It would be like if halo&gears was the only game on the xbox and calling it the console of choice for hardcore gamers over choice of two games. Or if KZ and UC was only games on the ps3 and calling it the console of choice for hardcore gamers over choice of two games. No I wasn't saying any of the titles above aren't for hardcore gamers or bad.

Point is you can't call a console "the choice for hardcore gamers" over the choice of a limited amount of titles. It takes multiple titles to say a console is mature and the choice for hardcore gamers. Why do you think ps3 and 360 is the choice for hardcore games bc of multiple titles and not just one or two hits

Wii need more than 5 games to just call it mature, and from what I heard Madworld didn't sell that well. The wii have/has good game but overall it won't target a large amount hardcore gamers many bc of Nintendo still trying live by its 80/90 standard. I'm referring the standard Nintendo had during the pre-ESRB era, ever wonder why you MK copy on the Snes never contain blood but instead sweat.
I'm pretty sure there probably been lots of mature games that would been on the wii but Nintendo rejected them.

Blood, guns and gore =/= Maturity. In fact, when it comes down to material itself, gaming is still one of the most immature entertainment mediums out there. That isn't wrong nor bad, however.

fire emblem, phantom brave, xenoblade,monster hunter,last story, galaxy, zelda, metroid,smash bros, dragon quest X (eventually) ect are so casual huh>

Fatal frame IV (true survival horror)
Conduit 1 & 2
Medal of honor: heroes 2(one of the best FPS on Wii)
Resident Evil: umbrella & darkside chronicles
Dead space: extraction
Bully (port, but a good game and good port)
Disaster: day of crisis
Manhunt 2 (port)
obscure 2 (port)
no more heroes 1 & 2

and it's really more than 5 games :) and not casual expierence..

About three remakes, Mad World was a let down and COD isn't great on Wii. More people download it for free then pay for it.
