Sony's classic mix of real-time strategy and rhythm action gets a third outing. The art's amazing, the music is catchy, but is the gameplay up to par?
"Your superhero Patapons each have multiple different classes - all of which have to be levelled up separately. After the confusion of the Evolution Tree from the last game this makes all the same mistakes with branches upon branches of extra skills to learn and activate - as well as weapons to specialise in and uprgade." This paragraph is a good example of why I already disagree with their score, even though I have yet to play P3.
I know right! GAME HAS TO MUCH VARIETY AND DEPTH! RUN BEFORE WE DROWN! Man wtf, patapon is one of the best games out there. It's long, has strategy, it's gun. Quirky original stories and characters. And they keep getting better and better. Fixing the flaws while trying new things. Not many people see it that way. And it pisses me off lol I'll defend Patapon any day.
Your review is bad, and you should feel bad!
