See the user-generated objective-based missions in action in this gameplay from inFAMOUS 2, including the Space Invaders mission!
CAN NOT WAIT.
-The invaders bit is just priceless -The sheriff mission has tight action
June seems so far away.
I've been feeling an urge to replay the first game again, I don't think I ever finished it. As entertaining as the first one though, InFamous 2 looks like it might be on a whole different level - if nothing else then certainly graphically and in terms of available powers.

I really need to pick Infamous 1 back up.
By "user generated levels" they mean by just adding text dialog and AI placement in some place of the city? Because if that´s what it is im gonna be disapointed because i want to create maps as well and (if possible) add custom music to the missions.
I think that those are just some shitty ones that were made. (They said in an IGN interview that they gave the game to come guys in Sony San Diego to try out the UGC so this is probably the best they could do). I know for sure that the talented users out there (just look at Little Big Planet 2) will come an completely wow us.
lets hope ur right
@e-p-ayeaH It's confirmed that you can create environments and set ups, SP even said that you can just create set pieces upload it then let others do the gameplay part.
It gameplay looks great it's just the environment that I really really don't like. It reminds me of a place I would hate to be.
That whole southern swampy dark setting is something that makes me sick. Is it a crime to not like depressing environments?
@ares84 nope not a crime just curious
They have already said there are different environments in the game the world is huge. relax.
Definitely on the lower end of user-generated content. Looks to me like you can do scripting of events along with some subtitles, whereas the world is always the same, the enemies are selected from a list, and the objectives are too. I find it hard to see how much variety can be generated with this. Reminds me of level editors back in the days of Timesplitters 2 except with this you can't even design the level itself.
Please give us an example of what you were expecting and how that would possibly fit into this game! As soon as I heard about this it was quite clear to me what it would entail; It obviously was never gonna be LBP2 and probably more akin to forge in Halo3. If it adds one day extra of replay value it is better than nothing. Something is always better than nothing!
Well I wasn't _expecting_ it to be anything special, but what it _could_ at least allow for is a terrain/scenery editor where you could build missions on an alien planet, country mansion or just a city like the one they have built. The strength of LBP is as much the ability to create different game types as it is creating different _scenery_. Not saying it would be easy to build such an editor for Infamous 2 but that's the kind of standard recent games have set in terms of level editors.
This game looks lightening years ahead of the first. Get it, lightening years. Sorry, selfish use of bad...
how all of you think this is the best you'll get. No one here have even seen the disc yet I see a lot of comments saying that the UGC is rubbish. The missions shown are very basic and were probably not made by Suckerpunch themselves (they are busy finishing the game you know) and the ones shown are just basic examples of what can be created.
