Commodore USA, LLC Returns – Reviving Amiga Line of Computers

Commodore USA, LLC announced that the Amiga brand of computers will be returning to the marketplace. The new Amiga computers will be fully expandable, use modern-day technology, have their own proprietary OS (Amiga OS?) and software packages will be available during launch for Microsoft Word and Office compatibility.

I remember when the Amiga CDTV looked like the coolest most beautiful bit of tech available. it didn't take-off but it had so much promise!

The picture is a bit stretched for some strange reason. The photo shown is the Amiga 2000 computer; it doesn't look that tall. The photos used in the article will show the proper dimensions of each Commodore Amiga computer.

Amiga was the wonder machine that had all the boxes ticked, was doomed with bad marketing!

Or shall we say, a lack of marketing doomed the Amiga in the US by the mid-1990's. In Europe, vigorous marketing campaigns sold the Amiga computer. The Commodore of old used 'word of mouth' to sell the Amiga in the US and that - as we all know - led to the company's demise.

Hopefully, Commodore USA LLC., will advertise the Amiga properly in all regions and right the wrongs of the past.
