Based on the ongoing efforts of the Valve ARG Wiki, there are hints that Portal 2 may in fact be released on April 15th, four days earlier than the official release date of April 19th.
(PC, Portal 2, PS3, Valve, Xbox 360)
You would have to be a complete idiot to think that Valve would launch a game early, not when they've invested tons of money into advertising the fact that their game will be available on a certain day.
On top of that, when was the last time a game launched on Friday?
Jesus, I question the intelligence of the person who even thought this was worth posting. Show a little common sense for a change.
Haven't they been in charge of their own advertising this time around? Also, Valve is always known for their surprises and such so I wouldn't completely rule it out.
I could see it happening on Steam but not on consoles but I won't complain if true. I'm getting the PS3 version because it comes with the PC version too. I'm just wondering if I play on PS3 and later on PC if my save will carry over. BTW, if anyone hasn't checked out the IGN co-op play through they should. Game looks fantastic.
Anyway a little off topic here but I can never find a straight answer but In the co-op mode with Portal 2 is there an AI bot...you know how you could play L4D with the AI controling the other team mates. ?
I just find it abit stupid if you can't because I'm not the type of person to go do a game like this with strangers I usualy do it with friends but their getting the 360 version.
I mean there has to be some way, I'd only be able to play half the game if it was just human controled.
From what I understand about Portal 2, the single player and co op stories are completely separate. So I believe in the single player you will be playing solo without a second character because you will have the flying robot (not sure his name) helping you out. Whereas in the coop you will have a second character being necessary to help you out that will always be played by a player.
Ah, the gameplay videos of Portal 2 threw me off with Wheatley because he is always seen in the air, didn't noticed that he was always attached to something.
The indie game sale ends on april 15th also..
-End statement

The main character in the story of both Portal 1 and 2 is Chell.
