IGN: Cole MacGrath's return to the PS3 has us all tingly.
Crazy stuff happening at the end of the video. Insane visuals for an open-world game.
I am more than excited. No reason for concern...
dont want to click and give them hits. @NateCole.. Why is it bad that it is PS3 exclusive?? It means that devs can take advantage of the PS3's superior hardware by focusing purely on PS3. According to IBM, PS3 is three times more powerful in terms of processing power.... and only way to take advantage of that is exclusive..
@NateCole If you don't have enough brains to respond with a valid comment don't say anything at all. @DualConsoleOwner The only concern the reviewer has is that the camera is really wonky when you go into melee mode, which can clip through into the buildings. I assume this will be fixed once the game ships.
@DualConsoleOwner "dont want to click and give them hits." Why not? It's a valid, interesting, and informative story. If you want to send a message, don't click links to flaimbait articles. Boycotting the good articles doesn't make any sense. Why punish them when they're actually doing their job properly? Your alternative is to ask, "What does the article say?" in every IGN story. I think this is silly, especially since you can get that information for yourself. That one extra hit isn't going to change anything anyway.
Man, you guys are a bunch of whiners. Go buy yourself a sense of humor.
all those effects are insane. I don't know why I didn't preorder this yet..
i am disappoint in you
The concern is more of IGN's bullshit. They are already prepping for their next PS3 exclusive nit-picking fest.
the 'concern' is that during some melee attacks when near a building, the camera angle is sometimes wrong so a bit of clipping occurs....
No... the concern should be that a baboon like Greg Miller will give his craptacular take on this awesome game.
@Beast_Master craptacular take like the fact that he gave inFamous 1 a 9.0/10? Or maybe the fact that he mentioned on his podcast that he has to disassociate himself from reviewing the game because he would give it a 9.5/10 regardless of the flaws? Try harder next time.
This random IGN hating has got to stop. There's no bias or BS in the article at all. He gives three reasons to get hyped, and one to be worried. Even then, he says that it's an early version, so it'll probably be fixed. Just read the article and you'll see there's no nit-picking at all.
I can hardly say it's a "random hating". you will understand is you read their reviews and the nitpickings are obvious in many places although I'm too lazy to link it for you! but just take a look at their Bayonetta and FFXIII reviews for both consoles and there it is... and if you're wondering why there's no nitpicking in the article, that is because this is a preview, not a review! the nitpicking is not there 'YET'!
i have no concerns about this game. i'm just waiting for it to release. edit man i didnt want to spoil myself by watching this vid but i couldnt help it. damn i can't wait to get my hands on this game. AWESOME
the facial expresions EDIT: That pic for the article makes him look like a Pheonix... EDIT 2: EVERYONE, SKIP TO 1:30
Whoa. 50 powers? That's going to be some fun.
Too much variety for IGN.
lol i remember when ratchet and clank got points taken off for to much variety, i was like wut?
@Rage_S90 That was GameSpot, not IGN. IGN gave R&C a 9.0/10 while GameSpot gave it a 7.5/10.
Wrong website, Jac5al. I'm beginning to think that peoples' disdain for things are mostly peer induced on this site.
LMao. "When is it not fun when smashing poeples face" No Concerns Here. AT ALL.
"You can smash my face right now! Do it!" "You can smash mine first I'll smash yours after" - I laughed when they said that.
I’m so excited for this game. It comes out right as E3 starts, so I don’t think I’ll get much sleep between the two...
It seems so far away, i want it now! lol
An infamous game that never ends!! Forget DLC, this has it all, great story (from what I've seen so far), awesome gameplay mechanics (they won't screw that up) and replay value!! I cannot wait. And oh frying people in the face and awesome boss battles! woot!
it's really amazing :) .. can't wait for it :D he should be able to carry the cars really high just like how they show it in the first game ...
No question i am getting this game day 1.
"I want this game" Omg Gregg Miller actually can't wait for a PS3 exclusive...that is a surprize
Not really. He's on the PS3 team now.
Who disagreed with me? Oh, who am I kidding? Nobody ever replies after disagreeing with a factual comment, do they? Greg Miller starting writing for the PS3 a while ago. He announced it in an article. It was even approved to N4G. He even wrote a pro-PS3 opinion piece. http://ps3.ign.com/articles...
i wonder if there will be side missions like the first game.
Oh wow, that swamp footage looked awesome. Can`t wait for this beat.
The graphics look awesome. This is gonna be good.
Wow. inFAMOUS 2 is going to be a piece of work. I'm telling you, this *could* become one of the greatest open-world games. Greg, you had me rolling at some of the captions.
