We have some good news for the PC version of Batman Arkham City. At a recent Warner Bros event we managed to wheedle out a little PC morsel to chew on.
I'll build him a rig! Also I would die for a Batman case!!
"I've always been a console player, but this game makes me want to be a PC gamer. What we play on is the PC build more often in the studio and it just looks amazing ... We try to develop them [360 and PS3] in parity, but the PC build has a life of its own." yeah!!!
All just buzzwords. Heard all of this before. I'm sure it'll be a good game, don't get me wrong, but it's not going to be some be all to end all experience just because it's on a PC.
"this game makes me want to be a PC gamer" Makes him want to be, but it seems like not there just yet...
I am sure hes developing the game on a PC ;-) and is playing it at the same time.
yet he isnt a Pc gamer this game just makes him want to be, guess at the end of the day its back to consoles or handhelds or whatever he prefers

yeah...pretty much implying that the PC version will be the best, but it seems like this happened recently, and PC gamers got the shaft....ooohhh....ummmm....wh at was that game....Crystal? Crying? Chrysler? I don't remember.
To be fair, the PC version of Crysis 2 (I assume that's the game you were referring to) is the best version of all 3, it's just not as better as some wanted it to be.
Batman AA was superior on PC too specially with extra effects like physx and 3D. Anyways ill be getting this on PC.
AA was awesome in 3D, I loved the way the nuts and bolts flew out of the screen when Batman ripped vents off the wall.
There don't seem to be any additional effects for PC this time around. I wonder, will the second game end up with less impressive physics than the first (no dynamic steam, no destructible environments, no tearable cloth etc.)?
The first Arkham's PC version was fantastic all around; controls, optimization and all. Here's hoping they keep on that track. :D
The Rocksteady rep quoted is Dax Ginn. Still a cool name. Sorry for the wrong attribution.
It is going to be good for all systems I am sure, but I am glad I am a PC gamer!
