PC Gamer: Brink Preview

Brink started out confusing everyone, with its bold and baffling intention to blur the lines between single- and multiplayer. Sitting down to play, it’s as instantly comfortable as it is relentlessly intense. It’s multiplayer maps with a story attached. And no map unlocking: you can play the map/chapters in any order you like. It’s not a spoilery kind of story.

The story is too old to be commented.

I think this will be a great game.

about time someone made something like that...
every multiplayer game out there have little to no story, the more story intensive multiplayer games gets, the better...

obviously havnt played the game yet. but from what i gather it seems like they adopt lots of differnt concepts from lots of differnt games and just meshed it together. the combining the sp and mp sound awsome!

i want to see how a mirror's edge + unreal tournament feels like too...

nothing beats enviroment interaction...

This game is dangerously under hyped...I'm worried that this game wont sell enough and get slammed for no reason.
This game, however, will NOT disappoint. I will put money on that. It's the reason why I'm not even going to bother with Crysis 2...Brink's movement makes Crysis 2 look dated, and team based gameplay to boot.

I should say that I was one of 100 people who loved Quake Wars on PC. <3 Splash Damage

Hopefully the name SplashDamage still carries some weight on the PC side of things.

Though it should be getting more attention. If not, hopefully word of mouth carries it through (assuming the game delivers)
