Deus Ex: Human Revolution Scene Recreated with Unreal Engine

TGE: "Vincent Joyau, a 3D game artist, has rendered Adam Jensen's apartment from Deus Ex Human Revolution with the Unreal 3 Engine. The whole thing. Vincent has done a fantastic job, too. Pretty impressive work here. The lighting may be a bit different, but the level of detail in the modeling and textures is really impressive. I'm also pretty sure that I want that massive TV in my house.

Another game using Unreal 3?

Don't get me wrong, its a good, stable, cross-platform engine.
But I think that all the games that use it have a slightly stale, overly familar feeling.

I love Batman AA and the Mass Effect series for example, but the graphics and the controls systems just have a similarity that I find a bit.......irritating.

Just to be clear, I don't believe Deus Ex: Human Revolution is actually using the Unreal Engine. The video in this article just shows what an independent artist did while using the Unreal engine to recreate a scene from the game.

Thats good to know.

Just found out that the game uses a modified Crystal Dynamics (aka the current Tomb Raider) graphics engine.

I don't know whether this is a good or a bad thing.......

I can't figure out if that TV is LED or Plasma, or if there is a projector somewhere.
