StarCraft’s Official Launch In China

Starcraft II is now officially invading the many cyber cafes in China. The sci-fi RTS game from developer Blizzard and its Chinese publisher NetEase has now entered into open beta testing in that country and that it will get its official launch just a few days later on April 6.

Recently, Netease released an open beta for Blizzard Entertainment’s StarCraft II in Mainland China and with the game being so successful, they imposed an immediate release which is scheduled on April 6. According to William Ding, Chief Executive Officer of NetEase that over the past several months, they have been working closely with Blizzard Entertainment to finish our preparations for the launch of StarCraft II in China. We are looking forward to providing high-quality service and support to Chinese players, ensuring they have a great experience with StarCraft II. (PS3, Starcraft II)
