Shortly after moving into the publishing side of the biz, Blade Interactive has announced a new funding injection.
Total Assets Limited agreed to a "multi-million" dollar funding deal with UK-based Blade, developer of the commercially-successful World Snooker Championship Series and the upcoming Hydrophobia, the latter of which is already causing quite a stir with consumer press.
The exact amount of the funding agreement is under wraps.
"Let no one in the videogames market underestimate what Blade is doing at the moment," said Blade's Deborah Jones in a statement. She said the firm's Infinite Worlds and HydroEngine technology will play an integral role in the expansion of Blade's business.
