Gears of War 3: Rod Fergusson shows us a preview of the Beta

The Gamestop website today published a video walkthrough of the Beta of Gears of War 3 , with a remark by Rod Fergusson, the executive producer of Epic Games. Recall that the Beta of Gears of War 3 will start on April 25 and runs until May 15 and will play the three new multiplayer maps on four competitive multiplayer (Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches and Old Town). Two Capture the Leader and King of the Hill will be added later, in the final week of the trial period.

Games are Gears of War 1&2, but I don't think it's as nice looking as Crysis2,just my opinion, but I don't care as I'm looking forward to this game more than any other this year. Bring on the Beta...

Yep, after the raining level in Crysis 2 the graphics look pretty bad due to the huge blocky film grain.

Im a Sony supporter and proud owner of ps3 but Gearrs 3 looks like it will be solid and i like anything resembling the war atmosphere of KZ, Gears, etcc..... My type of game!!!!

I heard that was the case with deathmatch. Didn't really play much of that though so I can't say. I spent most of my time after the campaign playing Horde. That's what I enjoyed most from the multiplayer.

I still play deathmatch and it's not as buggy as it used to be. Besides the occasional glitch you also had cheaters ruining the game for everyone but I believe the ones that were caught were banned from xboxlive. Haven't seen any in a while. It's loads of fun, especially when playing friends drunk!

I dont really want to play the beta it allways kills the game for me happened with mag by the time the game released i was done, so ill wait for the finished product i have faith my fellow gamers will make sure its working sweet , they done a great job fixing gears 2 online its now better than one.

As a ps3 only owner Gears 3 is looking pretty awesome!

The graphics are good, and the gunplay looks pretty sweet. I like how you can use a captured opponent as a meat shield, then stab him with a grenade and throw'em at his friends to explode. LOL.
