Several ports of Machinarium will be available later this year, it has been revealed.
Amanita Design founder Jakub Dvorský said that it is "working hard" on a PlayStation 3 version, which will be available by the end of the year.
Dvorský said that a Wii version developed by an external studio will be available in a few months' time, and that a Blackberry Playbook version is also in the works.
He continued: "As for the Wii version it's almost finished, but it's not in our hands because it's being done by Xgen Studios, a Canadian company, and they want to release it quite soon, I guess. But it's not in our hands.
"We are also preparing tablet versions. We are trying to bring it on iPad, which is quite difficult because the game is made in flash, and iPad doesn't support Flash very well, but we are working with Blackberry on their tablet Playbook, which is probably going to happen. We also hope for iPad, but it's not sure yet."
It was added that a sequel to Machinarium "is possible" but something the team has yet to fully consider. "We don't look far through the future," Dvorský said.
