"Ever since World War Two, media regarding the conflict (and most others) has, for the most part, been in the favor of the red, white and blue.
"Glorious America.
"Land of the free, home of the brave.
"In that sense, THQ and Kaos Studios’ Homefront screams of terrorism and anti-Americanism.
"Disappointingly, this occupation has little innovation."
7/10
Homefront has that down, whereas 'AAA' shooters like Call of Duty and Killzone 3 don't. Hit detection and netcode is much more important to me in a competitive environment than graphics and innovation.
I'm getting over shooters these days though...a bit too samey.
3 and a half hours of generic, scripted and linear action with uninteresting gameplay.
THAT's what the mediocre comes from.
The title chose to sell itself off of what became a crappy campaign; multiplayer does not embody the title.
Thusly, mediocre.
