Stewart Kellar, Hotz's attorney, has responded saying the missing hard drive parts have now been delivered.
why did many sites take the time to lie on this dude status
what would get more hits? geohot takes a vacation or geohot flees to south america
Geohot finally jumps off a cliff
"Stewart Kellar, Hotz's attorney, has responded saying the missing hard drive parts have now been delivered." .... Ummmm.... so? *BREAKING NEWS* GeoHotz has lost his virginity to a fish! :/
man i feel sorry for that fish
It wasn't a fish. It was a mermaid transvestite.
that crazy man... dont think fish have penis... female lay eggs in water and male just splooge onem
Haha him and Kanye can live happily as gay fish now
Fascinating... He asks donations for lawyers but has SPARE money to travel to South America?! Mind boggle!
all those $15 donations from the fanboys going to a good cause eh..
It's gonna be his last vacation, I guess he figured he wont win so he just spent his money on a vacation
there you go stupid people that gave him money, you funded his vacation
I hope he gets corn holed in a columbian prison then he is extradition to the US after they cram his ass full of cocaine so he gets even more charges.
They wouldn't extradite someone for a civil lawsuit. If they were criminally charging him it would be a different story.
I LOL'D at the people that give him donation for his 'case'. Once a scammer ALWAYS a scammer.
It's almost like a made for TV drama. Add some girlfriends (yeah right), a wife no one knows about, another mistress (yeah right), and it could be better popcorn material.
There will be a movie about this if Sony wins just you wait...
I'd like to see South America also. Please send money to [email protected]
This idiot should try and do something legit with his talents instead of trying to gain fame by being a low life weasel. What a douche.
I don't think he's coming back....
So he used his personal money to take a holiday and uses donations for his costs. Lets say if he wins he doesn't have to pay anything as the donations did all the work. He would get away with it and learn nothing from the experience and just fuel his ego. If he went to say Cancun that is an $800 flight then it is the price of the hotel, food and entertainment. I am sure he is there with friends so drink will cost a fortune. Anyway lawyers have to say these things to begin with. They are paid to cover his ass and play down the situation.
Wouldn't it be funny if he wasn't allowed back into the US!
So he's in South America. Maybe i'll find him?
Why South America? http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... All South American countries have extradition treaties with the U.S. He should of researched better.
I'm dying to see his new rapping video on youtube... (< see what I just did here lol)
Lol, props to the donators for paying his holiday :P Isn't it a bit funny that Geohot claims on his blog that he's in South America, and that his lawyer says he isn't?
Awesome getting sony some good proofs in the case. And why the hell is hotz in South America. Too much money to spend I guess.
Greetings N4G! I'm little Georgie's lawyer. I'm here to clear up a few rumors that have been surfacing lately. First of all, I want to assure you that your donations are not being used to fund Georgie's South American vacation. He's using his own money for that. Sure, my client made a spectacle of himself on the internet on more than one occasion, doing everything possible to get Sony's attention, including causing financial damage to Sony and their business partners, while twisting the law to suit his own agenda, but it's not his fault Sony is suing him. He didn't ask Sony to sue him. This is why it's completely okay that he's using your money to pay for his legal bills, and his own money to go play. We can't expect a 21 year old to be held financially responsible for the result of his actions. As for the significant evidence Sony has presented indicating that my client lied about not creating a PSN account, I have this to say... na na na na I can't hear you na na na na I can't hear you. Thank you for you attention, Stewart Kellar Attorney and legal guardian for George Hotz
This kid is going down
Innocent or not: he sure made himself look guilty as fuck by leaving the country. Not only that, but tampering with evidence as well. Pretty sure this case is over for him now. What a fool. He's only 21 though so really can't expect much anyway.
How the judge will see it...remember it's not illegal to "Avoid" but it is illegal to "Evade" Example: It could be argued that when George handed over the Hard Drives he Handed over the Hard Drives. He complied with the request, without the controller card, but the controller card was on attached to the drive before he was to hand over the drive. when he gave the drive over to the company that was going to review the drives the card was not attached. there was no mention directly about the cards themselves. but the "intent" was there in How you determine meaning. that's why Avoidance is one thing but Evasion is not quite the same in Law. it would be one thing is George returned the drives with out the ability for the company to be able to glean the data off of the drive pd. but in this case the company still could have without the card's, but what George did was could be seen as he did to Evade or maybe to avoid decryption of the drive an his passwords which some could reside inside the controller card an not on the drive itself! example: "Real-time hardware-based encryption. This consists of a hard drive controller with a USB key. Password protection is also available. Using this method, a printed circuit board is attached "in-line" between your hard drive and the computer. Data to be saved is sent to the controller card, and after being encrypted, the data is written to the hard drive. Decrypting data follows this method in reverse. Encryption schemes are chosen from the controller card's setup screen." http://www.easeus.com/resou... Well George did give over his Hard drives but..... As you can see there is a very thin line weather he skirted IE: "Avoid" the law or did he really "Evade" the Law. another example: it's perfectly legal to "Avoid" paying taxes, it's illegal to "Evade" paying Taxes
Why go to south America then, Mr. Lawyer? To make a wanna-be-a-rapper pose and post it on the Internet? That lawyer is as full as $%#^ as "G-man" himself. They should get married and lie about that they are both straight. That they only do..."male bonding". On another note, Mahr, if nobody agrees with you, don't you think that you might be the one who's wrong? Just because you're color blind, doesn't mean that the world is black and white, you know. IDK, dude... Just think about it even harder than when you thought about posting your comments.
