Top 5 Longer Downloads Than SOCOM 4 Beta

TGH Writes: "Lately there has been a lot of talk about the SOCOM 4 beta and mumblings about how long it is to download the internal download for the online patches. Well, to give you something to read while you wait we decided to give a list of other titles that had a longer update process than the beloved Socom 4 beta."

That download time is the 1 reason I never played MGO again after I upgraded my HDD... I love the game but it's not worth the download, especially now that no one is using the peer download server.

I never had trouble with the MGO download but it was the whole Konomi ID that killed my urge to play MGO.

Damn well I started playing it not too long ago and the multiplayer got very addicting for me. I would have to say it was better than Socom 4 based on the beta. Might change my mind for retail though.

Mmmmm, where's Burnout Paradise on that list?

lpfisher2454d ago

Burnout Paradise was never too bad for me

Get a decent internet connection. Took me less than 10 mins to download.

Wow... lost for article ideas, were you Gamers' Hub?

ShadyDevil2454d ago

No we weren't sir. We thought it would be fun but apparently some people don't feel the same way we do. Because we should be drones and agree with whatever you decide on huh?

We believed that those titles took long to download. We have regular internet and we are located in the city, not a rural area or anything like that. Do I have crappy internet? Prolly. But there are multiple other cases other than myself of friends on my list and the team whom agreed to this list.

I am sorry the article did not suit you. We will try to do better next time.

Wow again. Someone doesn't like constructive criticism.

There's no need to take such offence. So many gaming sites nowadays flood N4G with 'news' that isn't actually news it's become a pet peeve of mine. You're not the first to get a comment like this, and you won't be the last. As per the statement on my profile, "I say what I feel, and no one is obliged to agree with me".

No one's telling you what to write, but it might be worth you thickening that skin if you intend to stay in the videogames journalism industry for long - otherwise you'll end up in therapy when somebody says something that REALLY upsets you... :)

Happy birthday for tomorrow, btw!
