Yeah, Sonys definetly leading the charge as far as 3D games are concerned. Its kind of ironic that Sony has the 3D games...yet Samsung owns the majority of the world's 3DTV market share.

Be that as it may, Microsoft doesn't make TV's let alone 3D ones and Samsung doesn't make consoles. So in the end with Sony pushing 3D through the games and their TV's they are definitely leading the charge. Sony did it with the blu-ray by putting it into the PS3 and spreading the format quicker then wild fire and they did the same with the PS2 and DVD's. Sony is more clever then people give them credit for.

Sony developed the shutter glasses 3D first?

GamerSciz2676d ago

No, I didn't say the invented shutter glasses first. I said they are pushing 3D through games and their TVs. They are selling you everything you need in order to enjoy 3D gaming. Whereas from Microsoft or Nintendo even you have to buy other brands, i.e. Samsung, Sony, etc for TVs since Nintendo and MS don't make TVs.

In other words, Sony makes it easy to get 3D as they sell all the necessary hardware.

Ah I understand now, ur saying that Sony is leading the charge because they're giving you the full 3D experience with their products.

@LogicOwns Yes, and you put it so simply haha. But yea they are pushing their products from every angle and giving you the full experience through their own hardware/software. It's easy to push something on someone when you can guarantee them everything they will need to make it work.
