Halo fan film creators throw worldwide Reach tournament

Keyshot Productions has announced that the teaser for upcoming Halo fan film Operation Chastity will light up screens in summer 2011. To celebrate, they're holding a three month long Halo: Reach tournament. Cheers!

The tournament's free to enter, and there's room for 48 teams. Registration opened yesterday, and the first game will take place on Saturday 9th April. Sign up quickly if you're interested - places are handed out on a first come, first served basis. Prizes are apparently involved. We like prizes. Don't you?

Operation Chastity itself has yet to be dated for release. Staffed by a mix of volunteer Halo fans and industry pros, including Batman Begins veteran Nicola Instone as VFX producer, the project follows a group of marines as they battle an alien invasion. Not exactly a wild leap beyond the bounds of Halo convention, then.

The story is too old to be commented.
