GameBlurb writes, "Our Versus feature pits cross platform titles against each other and you the viewer will decide the outcome! It’s PlayStation 3 vs Xbox 360 and the game that’s going to square off EA/Crytek's Crysis 2. Which will emerge victorious? Or will the battle end in a wash?"

Wow! This game looks nigh identical in motion! I can't get over the quality difference from the demo to the retail version on the PS3! Crytek, why you trick us? :P

Glad to see it shaping up beautifully.

The question for me:

Should I rock Crysis 2 on PC or PS3? I'm having a hard time deciding. It will look, perform, and controll better on my gaming PC, but more of my friends will be playing on PS3 and I can trade some games toward it and buy it cheaper on Sony's platform as well.

Decisions, decisions.... I figure either way I win...but which way is THE way?

If PC is an option then I definitely recommend getting the PC version. Don't you have friends on the PC too?

In the end, though, it is your decision to make.

Dude, both!

Pc version is probably a steal!
I mean its very cheap.

my plan is to pick it up for the PS3 now and the PC version during a steam sale.

360 has slightly higher text rez but the PS3 overall has better

-Anisotropic Filtering
-Better Lighting
-Better shadows
-Better water
-Less black crush
-Better LOD

and this is why crytek shouldnt have released a ps3 demo. the internet was a buzz with the comparisons. the praising of the 360, the 2007 excuses of the ps3. ps3 gamers were "upset", 360ers were gloating.

360 looks little sharper but other than that they are same

all Comparison are different

I'm not sure what version to rent tomorrow. I'm pretty sure they're basically the same in motion. As long as the singleplayer is solid, I'm happy.

Longsama2703d ago

The fact that we have to look this hard to find a difference means that Crytek did there job
