Homefront , Inception, and the stupidity of review scores.

Why are films and games reviewed and scored so differently. (Culture, Industry)

From what I've seen movie critics are a bit more strict to say the least, and a hell of a lot more biased. If you look at inception's last score on the page on metacritic, it was a 25. That's well below the average score, if a gaming site did that today, it would be called biased until the end of time. I agree with the writer though, we shouldn't rely on reviews so much.

I think its not just the reviewers but gamers too. If we complain loudly that our favourite game "only" got a 7/10 then we're the ones that are wrong.
