Uncharted, the PS3 adventure game series, is coming to the silver-screen. While the movie may not sound like Uncharted, it's got big names attached. That doesn't mean it's going to actually happen.
Hollywood is a town where everyone is always working on something - their next project. Stars are attached to movie after movie. But just because a big star is attached and just because there's a script written, that doesn't mean a roll of film is going to be shot.
November 19 marks 15 years since the release of the Uncharted game that started it all.
I hope they don’t make another until the end of the ps5 lifecycle…. Show us a better jungle
VGChartz's Issa Maki: "I finally have a proper designation akin to what I've always referred to internally as 'the line that must be crossed' or 'The Line', for short – ludonarrative dissonance – the separation from a video game's story in relation to its gameplay. Why isn't PETA all up in Mario's grill for jumping on turtles and killing fish, or charging Samus Aran with the extinction of the Metroid species? Ever notice how fire has that habit of making bosses in Resident Evil stronger? Read on my friend, for I endeavor to imbue you with the ability to engage in basic queries concerning the concept."
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception has a lot to live up to as Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is an incredible and near-perfect game.
I cant even say what the point was its easily the worst story in the series. The online was a whole lot of fun though but overall doesn't come even close to 2
Villains were all over the place in this… one second they wanted Drake dead, the next they needed him, then they want him dead again, then they coulda killed him, but poisoned his friend instead, then coulda shot him again, but had brunch with him, then needed him alive, then coulda mowed him down, but decided to kill him by fire and let him escape… Uncharted 2 was way better. 😅😅
This was actually my least favorite in the series. Didn't have that same impact that part 2 set.
Uncharted 2 is the pinnacle of the series (to me).
Granted, 4 had the best story in my opinion, but 2 was the overall best game.
Slim to nil. Movie producers couldn't care less about authenticity or how the fans will react to how they shred the original work to pieces. They always gotta put their own stupid twists on stuff.
I love Mark Wahlberg, so I have a feeling hell do well for the part at least of this movie. Of course the movie success depends on so much else..
It will happen. But will it be a success? I doubt it. They are changing a bunch of stuff, basically alienating all the fans of the game. So then who's going to make it successful? Unless it's a really good movie, it won't have much success.
I'm calculating a 32.33 percent(repeating of course) chance of getting an actual Uncharted movie.
"Well, that's better than what we normally have..."
LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRR RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYY
JJJJEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNIIIII IIIIINNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! ! !!!
Have to be honest, I wouldn't mind a CGI/Naughty Dog Uncharted movie. Eye of Indra was decent for what it was.
