Yeah this sucks.
Well at least it'll give Bioware more time to polish the game and add on to the multiplayer part of the game.
Also this will give me time to play Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I & II on PC to remember the story and prepare for this new SWTOR game.
:)

Time to add on to the multiplayer part? Dude the game is an MMO its ONLY multiplayer. There isn't a singleplayer offline mode you know.

That said, day one purchase for me. Take a nice break off WoW wait to see their next expansion.

My fault.
I was under the impression with all of the dialogue Bioware was adding that there might be some type of story like missions within the online.
Oh well should be an awesome game regardless.
Will the subscription be the same like any other MMO?
$15/month?

there will be a huge focus on story missions with all the dialogue that the game has. i think i heard the game ill be over 100GB at PAX.

its almost like a mix of startwars, MMO, and masseffect type story telling

There will be Story like missions, like any MMO you can do quests on your own but you must be online and you must pay the subscription which will be $15/month and for me in the UK its £8.99/month.

This is pretty standard for MMO's. Only difference here in SWTOR is that you have dialogue options which can change the outcome of the particular story you are doing which is pretty awesome.

I was expecting it to be delayed until early next year, so this is a pleasant surprise for me.

@ above - While I wouldn't at all suggest you don't play through the KoToR games again, the Holocron records on the TOR site are really worth a watch.

@ Raendom - sign ups for the open beta have been open for ages now, is just a matter of when it kicks off.

Would be nice to get open beta or something.
